Sohail Malad is proud to serve the oral surgeons and teams who majority-own Oral Surgery Partners. With more than 80 locations and over 1,000 teammates nationwide, Oral Surgery Partners is committed to putting surgeons and their teams first. Each practice remains locally led and is supported by scalable infrastructure designed to preserve clinical autonomy, honor legacy, and grow practices that are truly ‘built to last’. OSP supports its surgeon partners through recruiting, mentorship, technology innovation, and a dedicated field team in service to its sites.
Sohail brings more than 15 years of corporate leadership experience, specializing in developing and executing growth strategies for private-equity-backed healthcare organizations. His expertise includes acquisitions, integration, and scaling complex, multi-site operations.
Prior to joining OSP, Sohail served as President of General Practice at National Veterinary Associates (NVA). During his tenure, the organization grew from 350 to 1,000 locations and from $650 million to $3.5 billion in revenue, employing nearly 30,000 associates and accounting for approximately 70% of NVA’s total revenue.
Previously, Sohail was Vice President and General Manager of Payor Solutions at TransUnion Healthcare. Earlier in his career, he worked with Boston Consulting Group and Ernst & Young LLP.
Sohail holds an MBA with Honors from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Southern California. He has also served for over a decade on the board of a NASDAQ-listed aerospace company and on the board of a software startup that was later acquired by a publicly traded retailer.
